Robert has a wide range of experience, with specialisms in many areas of personal tax planning and investigation work. After qualifying with one of the largest international accountancy practices, Robert joined Lithgow Perkins with the ambition to combine the technical and service ethos of an international firm with the personal, hands on approach of a local firm.

Mike Briggs

Mike has significant experience with accounting and auditing groups of companies, and has dealt with many property companies and those involved in the retail and manufacturing sector. He has a wide range of expertise, with particular specialisms in audit and the not-for-profit sector, and aims to understand clients and offer relevant business advice.

Joe Taylor

Joe has a wealth of knowledge across a range of disciplines but his particular passion lies in helping start-up businesses flourish into profitable enterprises. He advises entrepreneurs in areas of business structure, legislation, expansion funding and exit strategy. An important part of his work is offering cost effective tax planning tailored to individual needs.

Tom Rhodes ACA

Tom was promoted to partner level in April 2023 after joining Lithgow Perkins as an apprentice in September 2012. Alongside accounts preparation and tax compliance, Tom specialises in business consultancy, tax planning and audit work for businesses of all sizes including sole traders, owner-managed companies and multi-million pound companies.

Tom Lowry ACA

Tom joined Lithgow Perkins in 2013 as an apprentice, and qualified as a chartered accountant in 2020. In April 2023 he was promoted as partner. A specialist in tax, Tom views his work for clients as similar to that of a finance director, looking at real time information to give profitability, cash flow and tax projections, and then aiming to mitigate that tax liability.
