Full qualification as a chartered accountant is within reach for Tom Lowry after he passed two advanced stage exams this summer.
Tom, a semi-senior accountant at Lithgow Perkins, received the results of his advanced level ACA exams at the end of August, and now just has a case study left to sit in November in order to become fully qualified.
He said: “I’m delighted to have passed my latest exams and am hoping everything will be done and dusted by Christmas and I’ll be a fully-qualified ICAEW chartered accountant! The training and exams have involved a lot of hard work and I’m very grateful to Lithgow Perkins for supporting me and giving me the opportunity to develop my career in accountancy, which I love.”
Tom, 24, joined the firm after leaving school, working first as a bookkeeping and payroll clerk before becoming an accounts clerk. He currently helps support the senior accountants at Lithgow Perkins with client work, including bookkeeping and VAT returns.
