You will see that a common theme on this website is our commitment to looking after our clients in a friendly and professional manner. As the firm’s office manager, one of my key roles is to coordinate the firm’s resources – professional staff, support and IT to deliver a cost effective timely service to our clients. I am often the first point of contact for existing or prospective clients and my job is to make sure you get the answers you need, when you need them.
Another key aspect of my job is managing the financial calendar. These days the financial year is littered with deadlines. Missing these deadlines for filing or paying tax can result in penalties and surcharges. I take an active role in informing our clients of impending deadlines and requesting any information needed in good time to make sure those deadlines are met.
Nevertheless, despite a large part of my time being taken up with management, my background is accountancy, tax and business advice to clients. I am still actively involved in providing advice to clients in a wide range of businesses. In particular, I am often called on to assist in the implementation of accounting software for clients.
